Personal greeting on phones

How to setup personal greeting and name on your Inter-Tel desk/wall phones

• • Pick up your handset or press the SPKR button, if you have one

  • Dial 2400

  • Press * as soon as you hear the automated voice

  • Enter your ext number when prompted for mailbox number

  • Enter your ext password (ask IT or HR) when prompted and hit # key

    • First time extension setups will now prompt you to record your name for the Directory listing

  • Press 4 to select personal options

    • Press 1 to change your personal greeting

      • Press 1 for use primary greeting

      • You’ll then hear your current greeting...

        • Press 1 to replay the greeting

        • Press 3 erase and re-record

        • Press # to accept and keep greeting when done

    • Press 2 to change name in the directory

    • You’ll then hear your current greeting...

      • Press 1 to replay the greeting

      • Press 3 erase and re-record

    • Press # to accept and keep greeting when done
